Caribbean Restaurant Review, Barbados Brown Sugar Restaurant Review

Brown Sugar Restaurant is the place to sample the authentic taste of Barbados Cuisine, Located in the Aquatic Gap in St Michael. The restaurant formerly a local Barbadian home was lovingly restored into a tropical dining oasis. With its plantation mural covered walls, lush fern covered patio and relaxing cascading water garden, Its the place to get a way to for charming Caribbean hospitality, and an elegant romantic ambiance.

The dining at brown sugar is exceptional, their planters buffet luncheon is an all- you -can eat four course feast of Barbadian and Caribbean dishes. With Barbados famous national dish flying fish and cou cou,( served every Wednesday and Friday) souse, fish cakes, broiled lobster tails, and my all time favourite the pepperpot soup, a rich simmered one pot dish with spice and herb infused flavours and a heady aroma that ignites your brain and make your taste buds dance with delight. Their creole fish chowder and plantain crusted Mahi Mahi is also excellent..

One can not leave without trying some of their dessert selections, The Bajan rum infused bread pudding is a hit as is their warm Paw Paw pie served with ice cream, A creme brulee addict I have to say theirs deserve 5 stars status.

There is a fully stocked bar with live music on selected nights.

The attentive host and charming wait staff are always there on hand to attend to your needs and make your dining experience delightfully special.
